Healthy Homes Tai Tokerau is a joint venture partnership between two long established Northland charitable community enterprises – He Iwi Kotahi Tatou Trust from Moerewa and the Community Business & Environment Centre (CBEC) from Kaitaia.
Healthy Homes have been involved in the Warm Up New Zealand Program since it first started, we have insulated over 3000 homes taking out insulation measures under the Warm Up New Zealand Program. We currently have trained installation teams located Northland wide. With our own internal auditor and assessors, you can be assured of our high quality control.

Healthy Homes Tai Tokerau provides insulation and energy efficient solutions for your home and business. We offer a a comprehensive range of energy efficient solutions to improve the living standard in your home. Our Home Energy Assessors are qualified and experienced enough to carry out home energy assessments.
Funding for insulation
You can get up to $1,300 (or 33%) or if you hold a community services card you can get up to 60% towards the cost of ceiling and under floor insulation if your house was built before 2000. This funding can also be used for other energy efficiency measures, including:
- a hot water cylinder wrap
- pipe lagging
- draught-stopping
- a ground moisture barrier

- 100% Kiwi Made Polyester Insulation
- There are NO glues used in making the polyester products whereas some other forms of insulation are bonded with glues. Glues are known to break down over time, releasing a chemical called formaldehyde, which causes health concerns.
- Polyester has no negative effect on health. Heat-bonded polyester does not release fibres into the air.
